The main feature of blockchain online voting is total decentralization. It means that all the data and history are stored in multiple synchronized copies on multiple computers at the same time. To sabotage a vote you need to hack most of the computers involved in the process, which would be exceptionally expensive and complicated. Even in the case of a successful hack, an intruder cannot change ballots, because the ballots cannot be decrypted. No one can fake the results of a true blockchain-based vote.

Another advantage of blockchain-based voting is combined transparency and confidentiality. Each participant can check if his vote has been counted while at the same time withholding disclosure of his choice, given that every ballot is encrypted from the moment it is filled in.

The workflow consists of some simple steps, and all the settings are provided, with corresponding descriptions. Yes, the poll administrator themselves specifies whether voters can view the e-mails of other voters, or not.

Yes, each voter can change his choice up to 10 times, though only when voting is open. The service will only save his last choice.

No, you cannot change anything after the poll is launched. But you can easily duplicate and relaunch a poll, so you won’t need to enter all the information again.

To make WE.Vote easier to use for anyone, all the operations with seed phrases are performed seamlessly in our secured cloud, where all the seed phrases are stored. Your data protection is a top priority for us, so we follow our privacy policy very strictly. If you wish to take your seed phrase away from our cloud, you may do this in the service settings, so as to store the seed locally.
